Exhibitor FAQ

Q: What is a manga and anime convention?

A: It’s an event during which fans of m&a (manga and anime) and related fandoms from all over the country meet up. During such events there are multiple fun activities planned: panels, workshops, contests and integration activities.

Q: When will the Mizukon 2024 happen?

A: Mizukon 2024 will take place from Friday (12th of July 2024) to Sunday (14th). Remember though, that a single-day ticket allows you to be at the convention place only during specified hours (varies based on the ticket type/day)

Q: Where will the Mizukon 2024 happen?

A: Just like the Mizukon year before, 2024 edition will be happening in two places at once! One of them will be GOKSiR Przecław at Rekreacyjna 1 in Przecław (near Szczecin) and the other – the only Primary School also in Przecław. Both places are on the opposite sides of a single street.

Q: How to get to the convention place?

A: To the convention place of Mizukon (Google maps pin) you can get via public transport right from the main railway station in Szczecin. While moving around Szczecin you may find apps like mobileMPK, Jakdojade, czy Mapy Google useful (mobileMPK is available only for Android and J2ME though). Of course, for the public transport you’ll need tickets. You can buy them at newsstands and random small shops but you can also buy them right from a smartphone using various apps – (moBiLET, zbiletem.pl, most Polish banks’ apps). Full pricing is available at the carrier website (in Polish). There is some parking space near both convention places for people getting there by car, however as they are generally available to local people just living there, we can’t guarantee their availability.

Q: Will there be a place to sleep at the convention?

A: The convention place will have a dedicated resting space prepared. For the more demanding, we suggest you rent a room in a dormitory or a hotel/apartment. A list of suggested and verified dorms as well as potentially other accomodation info can be found here: accomodation (in Polish).

Q: Is there age restriction to attend Mizukon?

A: There is none – anyone can attend! Remember however, that if you are under 18 you’ll have to provide a parent’s consent (in a paper form) and people under 13 will be able to visit the convention only if accompanied by a guardian that is of age.
